Same-sex union: Supreme Court hints at ‘constitutional declaration’

The Supreme Court on Tuesday indicated that it may stop short of granting formal marriage rights to members of the LGBTQIA+ community but appeared firm on issuing a constitutional declaration which Parliament may choose to implement by enacting appropriate laws.
