Gautam Navlakha’s companion made to surrender booze as NIA objects

The NIA objected to liquor and cigarettes being taken inside the room, which the SC had exempted from CCTV coverage on the ground that it would be an invasion of Husain’s privacy. NIA sources said the agency felt intoxicants could create unforeseen situations and as such were not permissible.
